"吉行小助手" (hereinafter referred to as "this Software") is an internet dashcam application provided by DDPai (Shenzhen) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "we"). In accordance with the law, this Software will collect, use, store and disclose your personal information under certain circumstances. I. Collection of Personal Information
The main function of this Software is a smart management tool for dashcam-type connected vehicle devices, including device connection, video viewing and management, and device parameter settings. According to the classification standards of the 《常见类型移动互联网应用程序必要个人信息范围规定》, it is classified as a utility tool, and basic functional services can be used without collecting personal information.
1.2.1 To fulfill the service purposes of this Software, we will follow the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity, and collect your personal information and apply for relevant device permissions through technical means based on the following specific business functions: For details about the application of your personal information permissions, please refer to the 吉行小助手APP Application Permission Description; this Software has not established a user account system and will not collect your personal information, therefore there are no descriptions of personal information collection and use.
1.2.1.1 Dashcam Device Connection and Communication
To enable pairing, connection, and communication between the APP and the dashcam, we need to request your location permission and collect your WiFi status, WiFi scan results, SSID and BSSID, and IP information. Due to underlying system mechanism limitations, obtaining the WiFi list requires enabling location permission.
To maintain the stability of the device connection, the application (while running in the foreground and background) will obtain the current connected WiFi address and status to determine the connection status between the dashcam and the phone in real time, preventing interruptions during data transmission. We will also collect the dashcam's ID and usage duration, and device ISO region code.
1.2.1.2 Multimedia Processing and Local File Management
To enable playback, download, editing, and saving of dashcam videos/images, we need to request your storage permission (or photo album permission) and attempt to read/write SD card data, and collect your media data (videos/images) and external storage card information. To enable QR code scanning for device connection and photo-taking functions, we need to request your camera permission. If you refuse, it will only prevent you from using the functions that depend on the corresponding permissions.
1.2.1.3 Sensor Data Auxiliary Functions
To implement specific business functions such as automatic video screen rotation and driving behavior detection, we need to invoke the sensor permission of your device and collect your accelerometer, gyroscope, rotation vector sensor, and linear acceleration sensor data. Such data is only processed locally in real time and does not involve personal identification.
1.2.1.4 Application Security and Troubleshooting
To ensure the safe and stable operation of this Software, prevent malicious attacks, ensure security, and perform troubleshooting, we need to obtain your device information (including Android_ID, OAID, GAID), system telephony interface status, and process information (list of currently running processes).
1.2.2 吉行小助手APP adopts a multi-platform asynchronous development approach, supporting the use of multiple operating systems including Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS:
- a. When you use the Android system, during the process of using 吉行小助手APP through various mobile operating systems, the information collected by 吉行小助手APP is limited to the information necessary for your consent to use the basic services of 吉行小助手APP;
- b. When you use the iOS system, during the process of using 吉行小助手APP through various mobile operating systems, the information collected by 吉行小助手APP is limited to the information necessary for your consent to use the basic services of 吉行小助手APP.
- c. When you use the HarmonyOS system, during the process of using 吉行小助手APP through various mobile operating systems, the information collected by 吉行小助手APP is limited to the information necessary for your consent to use the basic services of 吉行小助手APP.
1.2.3 Based on different business scenarios, this Software integrates third-party SDKs. This Software will only use your personal information for lawful, legitimate, and necessary purposes, and will adopt strict security measures to protect your personal information;
a. To help this Software with function usage statistics and abnormal crash reporting, this Software uses the "Umeng+" service (com.umeng). This service will collect device identifiers (IMEI/AndroidID/IDFA/OpenUDID/GUID/SIM card IMSI/IP/ICCID/geographic location/device serial number) to uniquely identify the device when you use the application or when the application is running in the background, in order to provide device application performance statistical analysis services, calibrate report data accuracy through geographic location, and provide basic anti-fraud capabilities;
b. To implement the map trajectory display of "this Software" APP, "this Software" APP uses the Baidu SDK. The Baidu Maps SDK will request access to the following permissions to provide map display and positioning functions: device information [including device identification information (Android ID, IDFV, IMEI, device serial number), system information (operating system version, device brand and model, device configuration) and application information (application name)], location information [which may include latitude and longitude, device signal strength information and sensor information (acceleration, gyroscope, direction, pressure, rotation vector, light, magnetometer)], network type (including mobile network, WiFi network), and storage information (including reading and writing external storage card information on the phone).
The application (while running in the foreground and background) will obtain device identification information (Android ID, IDFV) multiple times to provide you with issue tracking, investigation, and diagnostic services and to perform data statistics, in order to ensure the safe and normal operation of products and services.
c. While the above third-party SDKs cooperate with us to provide you with more comprehensive services, they may collect your personal information. The third-party SDKs used in our different Apps vary and may change from time to time. Please refer to the 吉行小助手APP Third-Party Sharing List for details, which will introduce the names of third-party SDKs embedded in the App, the types of personal information collected, the purposes of collection and use, and the privacy policy links of the third-party SDKs.
d. When you share or copy information, we need to access your clipboard and read the links and other content information contained therein to enable the functions or services of redirection, copying, and sharing. If you refuse to provide this permission and content, it will only prevent you from using this function and will not affect your normal use of other functions of the product and/or service.
1.2.4 Video Editing and Intelligent Processing Algorithms
When you use the video editing and compositing functions to process recorded content, in order to provide you with video editing services and improve video quality, we will collect and use relevant information based on the specific functions you choose, to ensure the normal operation of the editing algorithms. The specific situations are as follows:
(1) Basic Editing and Audio/Video Processing: When you use regular video editing (such as trimming time points, adding text, adding background music) and audio replacement/mixing functions, we need to access your authorized uploaded local videos, audio files, and images. Please be aware that these files contain faces, voiceprints, license plates, locations, biometric features, or sensitive information. The system only records your editing operation logs for local preview, effect generation, and troubleshooting.
(2) Watermark Overlay Function: If you enable the watermark function, the algorithm will scale and overlay the custom image (Bitmap) you provide onto every frame of the video. You have the right to independently choose to enable or disable the watermark overlay function.
(3) Data Storage and User Rights: All the above video editing and compositing processing is completed on your local device, and we will not upload your above data to cloud servers (unless you actively choose to share and publish). Temporary files generated during video processing will be automatically deleted after compositing is completed. You have the right to delete locally generated video files at any time.
This Software will use other means (including: email, information download, user support, feedback) to collect your personal information. If you fill in your personal information on other open platforms, other users may obtain your information.
To facilitate your use of this Software, the servers of this Software will collect information about your mobile communication device, including: model, device ID, system version, Internet Protocol address, the time and place of your visit, routing data packets, information senders and receiving data (but not the information itself).
Please understand that in the following circumstances, we do not need to obtain your authorization and consent to process your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations:
- Necessary for the conclusion or performance of a contract at your request;
- Necessary for the performance of statutory duties or statutory obligations;
- Necessary to respond to public health emergencies, or to protect the life, health, and property safety of natural persons in emergency situations;
- Processing personal information within a reasonable scope for the purpose of carrying out news reporting, public opinion supervision, and other acts in the public interest;
- Processing within a reasonable scope your personal information that you have made public on your own, or other personal information that has been lawfully made public;
- Other circumstances stipulated by laws and regulations.
II. Use and Storage of Personal Information
In accordance with laws and regulations, we store personal information collected and generated within the territory of the People's Republic of China domestically. Currently, we will not transfer your personal information overseas. If future business development requires overseas transfer, we will strictly comply with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, and will separately inform you of the specific reasons and matters, and obtain your separate consent.
We only retain your personal information for the period necessary to provide products and services, or for the period required by laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
- General Principle: We only retain your data during the period you use the service.
- Expiration Handling: After the necessary storage period has expired, or when we terminate services/operations, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.
- Cessation of Operations: If we cease operating products or services, we will promptly stop collection activities and notify you in advance in the form of announcements or push notifications.

Deletion Method: When you no longer need to use our services, you can delete your personal information by uninstalling this application.
You acknowledge and agree that statistical data that has been processed to be unable to identify specific individuals and cannot be restored (i.e., "anonymized data") does not constitute personal information. To improve product functions, analyze usage patterns, or enhance services, we need to save and use such data. We reserve the right to use, or authorize third parties to use and disclose, such anonymous aggregated statistical data for any lawful purpose.
III. How We Share, Transfer, and Publicly Disclose Your Personal Information
To provide you with more comprehensive services, or for the purpose of preventing internet fraud, we need to share your personal information with affiliates, partners, or other third parties. We commit that unless we obtain your explicit consent or it falls under the exceptions stipulated by laws and regulations, we will not share your personal information with any unrelated third party.

We will not transfer your personal information to any company, organization, or individual, except in the following circumstances:
- Prior explicit consent or authorization has been obtained from you;

- As our business continues to develop, if personal information needs to be transferred due to merger, division, dissolution, declaration of bankruptcy, or other reasons, we will inform you of the name or personal name and contact information of the recipient. This Software will make reasonable commercial efforts to protect the security of your personal information and implement reasonable commercial procedures to restrict unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of your personal information. Despite the above measures, you should be aware that this Software cannot completely avoid security risks related to personal information.
4.2 Your personal information is stored locally. If you wish to delete all personal information from this Software, you can do so by uninstalling the application and clearing local data.
V. How You Manage Your Personal Information
You have the right to access, correct, and supplement your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations. You can contact us through the contact information provided in this privacy policy to inquire, correct, or supplement your information, and we will respond to your request within 15 days.
Unless otherwise stipulated by law, you have the right to request us to delete your personal information. You can contact us through the contact information provided in this privacy policy to request deletion. We will complete the review and processing within 5 business days and inform you of the result by phone, and will also notify, to the extent possible, the relevant parties who have obtained your personal information from us (if any) to request timely deletion, unless otherwise stipulated by law or such parties have obtained your independent authorization. Please note that even after you delete information from our services, due to applicable laws and security technology limitations, we may not be able to immediately delete the corresponding information from backup systems, but we will securely store such personal information and restrict any further processing until the backups can be cleared or anonymized.
吉行小助手 can be used without registration or login and has not established a user account system, therefore there are no account cancellation operations. You can delete relevant information by uninstalling the application and clearing local data.
You can apply to withdraw your previous consent and authorization through the path "APP Settings - Privacy Settings - Withdraw Privacy Policy Authorization", or by contacting customer service. Please note that once you withdraw the relevant consent or authorization, we will no longer process the corresponding personal information and will be unable to continue providing the services corresponding to that consent or authorization; and your subsequent adjustment of the scope of authorization consent will not affect our processing of personal information that was already based on your previous consent or authorization before the adjustment.
You have the right to obtain a copy of your personal information. You can contact us by contacting customer service or sending an email to feedback@ddpai.com. After completing the confirmation of the personal information subject, the copy of personal information will be submitted to you through a method agreed upon by both parties; subject to technical feasibility, we will provide you with a data transfer path within 15 business days in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations.
We will not transfer your personal information to any other third party unless your explicit consent is obtained. As our business continues to develop, we may undergo mergers, acquisitions, or asset transfers, and your personal information may be transferred as a result. In the event of such changes, we will require the successor to protect your personal information in accordance with laws, regulations, and security standards no less than those specified in this privacy policy, otherwise we will require the successor to re-obtain your authorization and consent. For security purposes, you may need to provide a written request or handle related business through other means. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. Generally, we will complete the review and processing within 15 days, and we ask for your understanding. For your reasonable requests, we generally do not charge fees. However, we may refuse requests that are illegal, in violation of regulations, without legitimate grounds, potentially unreasonably repetitive, require excessive technical means (requiring the development of new systems or fundamental changes to current practices), pose risks to the legitimate rights and interests of others, or are highly impractical. Despite the above provisions, in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations, we may be unable to respond to your request in the following circumstances:
- Related to national security and national defense security;
- Related to public safety, public health, and major public interests;
- Related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and judgment execution;
- There is sufficient evidence to show that you have subjective malice or abuse of rights;
- Responding to your request will cause serious damage to the legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals or organizations;
- Involving our trade secrets;
- Related to our obligations to comply with laws, regulations, and relevant provisions of industry regulatory authorities.
VI. How to Jointly Protect Your Information Security
To ensure the security of your personal information, we will adopt technical measures and management methods that comply with industry standards to protect your personal information. At the same time, your active assistance is also needed to jointly maintain the security of your information.
If personal information is leaked due to your own actions of actively disclosing or failing to properly safeguard your information, the resulting losses shall be borne by you in accordance with the law; if your personal information is leaked due to deficiencies in the platform's security protection measures, or due to attacks by others and the platform's failure to take timely and effective countermeasures, we shall bear the corresponding responsibility in accordance with the law and actively assist you in recovering your losses.
VII. Protection of Minors' Personal Information
8.1 We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. If you are a minor who is at least 14 years old but under 18 years old, you should read and agree to this privacy policy together with your parents or other guardians under their supervision and guidance before using the products and related services we provide. We do not provide services to minors under the age of 14.
