1. Collection of Personal Information

1.1 Basic Functions

The main function of Youmera APP is a smart management tool for dash camera and connected vehicle devices, including device connection, video viewing and management, and device parameter settings. According to the classification standards of the "Regulations on the Scope of Necessary Personal Information for Common Types of Mobile Internet Applications", it is classified as a utility tool, and basic functional services can be used without collecting personal information.

1.2 Non-Basic Functions

You can use the Youmera APP without a user account. If you wish to use more features of the Youmera APP, you can register for this application and will need to provide relevant personal information.

1.2.1 To fulfill the service purposes of the Youmera APP, we will follow the principles of legality, legitimacy, and necessity, and collect your personal information and request relevant device permissions through technical means based on the following specific business functions: For information about your personal information permission requests, please see "Youmera APP Application Permission Instructions"; For information about the collection of your personal information, please see "Youmera APP Personal Information Collection and Use List".

1.2.1.1 Account Registration and Login

When you register and log in to our platform using your mobile phone number, you need to provide us with your mobile phone number, and we will verify your identity through SMS verification codes. Collecting your mobile phone number is to meet the relevant requirements of national laws and regulations regarding network real-name registration (real identity information authentication). If you refuse to provide your mobile phone number for registration and login, we may not be able to provide you with information notification and feedback functions (including problem feedback and receiving message notifications). Not providing the above information will not affect your use of basic functions.

1.2.1.2 Dash Camera Device Connection and Communication

To enable pairing, connection, and communication between the APP and the dash camera, we need to request your location permission and collect your WiFi status, WiFi scan results, SSID and BSSID, and IP information. Due to underlying system mechanism limitations, obtaining the WiFi list requires enabling location permission.

To maintain stable device connection, the application (while running in the foreground and background) will obtain the current connected WiFi address and status to determine the real-time connection status between the dash camera and your phone in real time, preventing interruptions during data transmission. We will also collect the dash camera's ID and usage duration, and device ISO region code.

1.2.1.3 Multimedia Processing and Local File Management

To enable playback, download, editing, and saving of dash camera videos/images, we need to request your storage permission (or photo album permission) and attempt to read/write SD card data, collect your media data (videos/images) and external storage card information. To enable QR code scanning for device connection and photo capture features, we need to request your camera permission. If you refuse, you will only be unable to use the above features that depend on the corresponding permissions.

1.2.1.4 Sensor Data Auxiliary Functions

To enable specific business functions such as automatic video rotation and driving behavior detection, we need to invoke your device's sensor permissions and collect data from your accelerometer, gyroscope, rotation vector sensor, and linear acceleration sensor. Such data is only processed locally in real-time and does not involve personal identification.

1.2.1.5 Application Security Operation and Troubleshooting

To ensure the safe and stable operation of the Youmera APP, prevent malicious attacks, ensure account security, and conduct troubleshooting, we need to obtain your device information (including Android_ID, OAID, GAID), system phone interface status, and process information (list of currently running processes).

1.2.2 Youmera APP adopts multi-platform asynchronous development and supports Android and iOS operating systems:

  • a. When you use an Android system, during the use of the Youmera APP, the information collected by the Youmera APP is limited to the information necessary for you to agree to use the basic services of the Youmera APP;
  • b. When you use an iOS system, during the use of the Youmera APP, the information collected by the Youmera APP is limited to the information necessary for you to agree to use the basic services of the Youmera APP;

1.2.3 Based on different business scenarios, Youmera APP has integrated third-party SDKs. Youmera APP will only use your personal information for legal, legitimate, and necessary purposes, and will take strict security measures to protect your personal information;

a. To ensure the security of user accounts and funds, as well as the secure and stable operation of Youmera's payment services, Youmera uses the "APP Alipay Client SDK" (com.alipay/com.beecloud). This service will collect your Android ID, OAID, SSID, BSSID, IMEI, device serial number, device sensors, network information, and location-related information. For details on the "Alipay" library service rules, please refer to its privacy policy;

b. To help Youmera APP with function usage statistics and crash reporting, Youmera APP uses the "Umeng+" service (com.umeng). This service will collect process information and device identifiers (IMEI/GAID/Android ID/OAID/IDFA/OpenUDID/GUID/SIM card IMSI/IP/ICCID/geographic location) when you use the application or when the application is running in the background, to uniquely identify devices, in order to provide device application performance statistical analysis services, and calibrate report data accuracy through geographic location, providing basic anti-fraud capabilities;

c. To enable the map trajectory display function of the "Youmera" APP, the "Youmera" APP uses the Baidu SDK. The Baidu Map SDK will request access to the following permissions to provide map display and positioning functions: Device information [including device identification information (Android ID, IDFV, IMEI, device serial number), system information (operating system version, device brand and model, device configuration) and application information (application name)], location information [may include latitude and longitude, device signal strength information and sensor information (accelerometer, gyroscope, direction, pressure, rotation vector, light, magnetometer)], network type (including mobile network, WiFi network), storage information (including reading and writing external storage card information), and process information.

The application (while running in the foreground and background) will obtain device identification information (Android ID, IDFV) multiple times to provide you with problem tracking, troubleshooting, and diagnostic services and perform data statistics to ensure the safe and normal operation of products and services.

For details on the "Baidu Map SDK" service rules, please refer to its privacy policy.

d. To enable the video playback function of "Youmera", the "Youmera" APP uses the Qiniu Cloud SDK. This service will collect your device information, log information, and location-related information to provide basic core technical services.

For details on the "Qiniu Cloud SDK" service rules, please refer to its privacy policy.

e. The above third-party SDKs may collect your personal information while cooperating with us to provide you with more comprehensive services. Different Apps we offer may use different third-party SDKs, which may change from time to time. Please refer to the "Youmera APP Third-Party Sharing List" for the most accurate information, which will introduce the names of third-party SDKs embedded in the App, the types of personal information collected, the purposes of collection and use, and the links to the privacy policies of third-party SDKs.

f. When you share or copy information, we need to access your clipboard and read the links and other content information it contains to enable jump, copy, share functions or services. If you refuse to provide this permission and content, you will only be unable to use this function, but it will not affect your normal use of other functions of the product and/or service.

1.2.4 Video Editing and Intelligent Processing Algorithms

When you use the video editing and compositing functions to process captured content, we will collect and use relevant information based on the specific functions you choose to provide you with video editing services and improve video quality, ensuring the normal operation of editing algorithms. The specific situations are as follows:

(1) Basic Editing and Audio/Video Processing: When you use regular video editing (such as trimming time points, adding text, adding background music) and audio replacement/mixing functions, we need to access the local videos, audio files, and images you have authorized for upload. Please be aware that these files contain faces, voiceprints, license plates, locations, biometric features, or sensitive information. The system only records your editing operation logs for local preview, effect generation, and troubleshooting.

(2) Video Stabilization Function: When you use the stabilization function to improve the stability of video images, we will invoke your device's gyroscope sensor data for stabilization algorithm processing. You can disable this function at any time in your device settings.

(3) Watermark Overlay Function: If you enable the watermark function, the algorithm will scale and overlay the custom image (Bitmap) you provide onto each video frame. You have the right to choose to enable or disable the watermark overlay function at your discretion.

(4) Data Storage and User Rights: All the above video editing and compositing processing is completed on your local device, and we will not upload your data to cloud servers (unless you actively choose to share and publish). Temporary files generated during video processing will be automatically deleted after compositing is complete. You have the right to delete locally generated video files at any time.

1.3 Other Ways You Provide Information

Youmera APP will use other methods (including: email, information downloads, product or service purchases, user support, feedback) to collect your personal information. If you fill in personal information on other open platforms, other users may have access to your information.
